6:15 PM - 7:45 PMCNT

Join Congregation Ner Tamid for Back To Shul Shabbat and Cantor Hutchings’ Sermon Series About Her Israel Story

Friday, August 16, 6:15 p.m.

“Back to Shul celebrates the beginning of the Religious School year with our Shir Shabbat Service,” CNT’s Family and Education Director Hayley Wizig said. “Students will have the chance to come up and help lead their favorite prayers. This year we invite all Religious School graduates to come and celebrate 50 Years of Religious School.’”

At the Service, the Shomer Torah Award will be presented to the students who attended the most Shabbat services during the school year.

Students will receive a plaque, and their families will be honored during the High Holydays season.

With “Hatikvah – What Will Israel Look Like Tomorrow?” Cantor Hutchings will focus on how the current situation is an existential crisis of the State of Israel. Cantor will discuss what the hope is for the future of the Holy Land. How can we lend our voices? How can we encourage the efforts taking place in Israel? What could Israel look like if peace is achieved? How can we engage the next generation in building a Jewish identity that includes strong ties to Eretz Yisrael?

In our Sanctuary and virtually on Facebook and YouTube.
