Jared Cole Harris – Saturday, March 29

         Jared Cole Harris is super thrilled to be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah at Congregation Ner Tamid on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. He learned to read Hebrew in 10 months, and his family is very proud of him. He will be reading the Torah portion Pekudei.

         Jared is a 7^th grader at Del Webb Middle School. He enjoys video games, traveling, and playing the drums. He spends his time playing and designing video game rides on his computer. Jared is interested in becoming an Engineer and using his knowledge to create and design rides for theme parks. 

         Jared loves to share what he is interested in, from Disney to gaming, to researching the latest news about theme parks around the world. He became particularly excited about sharing this knowledge when Virtual field trips became huge during Covid. He staged Virtual presentations for several teachers in his Elementary School in California during his 4^th and 5^th grade years. Because of his love of computers, he has chosen a Mitzvah Project to help others, especially the older generation, to learn how to navigate the Internet safely and utilize new apps and other social media platforms that are currently influencing how we navigate through our world using the web. He will be giving a presentation and spending additional time helping those interested at CNT to become more proficient in using the internet and other apps.
