Joseph Roth's Bar Mitzvah

Saturday, March 1, 2025 1 Adar 5785

10:00 AM - 12:00 PMCNT

Joseph Daniel RothSaturday, March 1

Joseph Daniel Roth will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah at Congregation Ner Tamid on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

He will be reading the portion Terumah. His Torah portion is about how God commands the Israelites to bring offerings to build the Tabernacle, a sacred space for divine presence.

Joseph is a 7th grade student at Del Webb Middle School, where he enjoys playing clarinet and is in the accelerated band class. Joseph loves playing drums and has performed in more than 20 live concerts.

His Bar Mitzvah is especially meaningful because his grandparents Madelyn Buss, Sheldon Ossoff, Doris Roth, and Morris Roth are no longer with us.

For his Mitzvah Project, Joseph is working with Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions, a free-roaming rescue that takes in cats and finds them their fur-ever homes. He volunteers at the facility a couple of times a month. He will also help paint a room in the shelter to help make it a comfortable space. His connection and love of animals make this a great choice. If you would like to support Joseph’s project, please visit www.homewardboundcats.org. There is also a donation box at Congregation Ner Tamid.

In our Sanctuary and virtually on Facebook and YouTube.
