Bat Mitzvah of Peyton Hunt
Saturday, October 18, 2025 • 26 Tishrei 5786
10:00 AM - 12:00 PMPeyton Monroe Hunt – Saturday, October 18, 10:00 a.m.
In our Sanctuary and virtually on Facebook and YouTube.
Peyton Hunt will be called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah at Congregation Ner Tamid on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. This marks a sacred milestone in Peyton’s spiritual journey as she deepens her connection to her Jewish heritage, community, and sense of purpose. The Torah portion she will chant from is Bereshit - the story of beginnings, creation, and light emerging from darkness - a fitting reflection of her own emergence as a young leader.
Peyton is a proud, loving presence in both her family and the local Summerlin community. A dedicated 8th grader at Sig Rogich Middle School, she shines as a member of the Riderettes Dance Team. Dance has been her passion for more than 8 years. She currently trains across seven distinct styles and is now in her fifth competitive season with Dance Dynamics.
Beyond the studio, Peyton is a vibrant spirit. She finds joy in travel, time with friends, snowboarding, beach days, baking, crafting, and attending concerts with her family. Her energy is radiant, grounded by her deep compassion and sense of responsibility to others.
For her Mitzvah Project, Peyton has chosen to raise funds to make her Temple more accessible to individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Her goal is to help install proper signage, provide Braille siddurim, and ensure the space is truly welcoming to all. As an older sister to a younger brother who is blind, Peyton has learned firsthand what it means to truly see - not with the eyes, but with the heart. Her project is a powerful expression of empathy, inclusion, and leadership.

With Endless Pride, J & Lisa Hunt, along with siblings Sophia, Hudson, and Maddon, are honored to witness Peyton’s growth, heart, and commitment to everything she puts her soul into.
