Jackson Blaine Unger – Saturday, September 21, 2024

         Jackson Blaine Unger will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, September 21, at 10:00 a.m. Jackson is a seventh grader at Bob Miller Middle School. He loves singing in his school’s concert choir and is also passionate about making his own music, as Yung Junger.

         As a leader among his peers, Jackson has always gone out of his way to include those that are on the sidelines. As a student of the month recipient, every year since kindergarten, Jackson thrives with a fully accelerated class schedule.

         When asked how he felt being called to the Torah, Jackson replied, “I feel honored and I am excited for what lies ahead in the future for me, but try to stay mindful to not miss out of all of the greatness that’s happening to me right now.”

         After spending a month at Camp Stein in Prescott, AZ this summer, Jackson feels stronger in his Jewish faith than ever. He also fell in love with Frolf, frisbee golf, and enjoyed spending time with his little brother Asher and best friend Elijah.

         Jackson’s family is extremely proud of the man he is becoming and can’t wait to see him up on the bimah soon.
