Cantor Hutchings requests that you wear orange for Services Friday night in memory of brothers Ariel and Kfir Bibas. They were taken hostage by Hamas during the terrorist attack in Israel on October 7, and their bodies were returned to Israel on Thursday. Kfir was the youngest hostage kidnapped into Gaza and the youngest to have been killed.

Rabbi Akselrad will speak on Parashat Mishpatim which focuses on the nature of Justice. In a portion that holds more laws about right and wrong than any other Torah portion, Rabbi will address the balance between the pursuit of justice measured with compassion and the pursuit of doing what is right.
